ABOUT

A life-long bilingual singer, songwriter, and motivational speaker, Karina began her musical career at a very young age. Her natural singing talent evident, she was only 5 years old when she recorded her first song and performed live at Madison Square Garden. Karina’s parents, Eliezer and Linda Moreno also known as “Dueto Moreno”, were pioneers in faith-based Mariachi music developing a deep connection in the Spanish Christian community. As a member of her father’s traveling ministry and family musical group Mariachi Los Salmos, Karina grew up performing, writing, and working in her Father’s church in Tucson, Arizona.

As she grew up listening to classic country music and performing in a mariachi band, Karina developed a love for traditional music arrangements in the genres of country and mariachi. Frequently compared to artists such as Dolly Parton and Rocio Durcal, Karina’s writing and singing reflects a passion for country music, her Latin heritage, and her faith. As an established, Grammy nominated artist with 8 full-length LPs and 2 EPs, her experience includes 5 years as a violinist with the Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra. Regarded as one of the world’s best Mariachi singers, she has performed for millions throughout the world and in front of audiences in excess of 100,000.

Through her songs and messages, Karina empowers women to feel confident, valued, and beautiful. As a certified chaplain, her faith-based messages help women find hope, purpose, and identity in the aftermath of trauma.

Karina and her husband Eric Sanderson, make their home in Phoenix Arizona, along with their five children. Karina’s music is available on all digital platforms.
